In general, you can find out when I vacationed in Sumba. Weather-wise, it's usually rainy from December to March. Outside of that, it tends to be sunny and hot. If you visit a month or two after the rainy season, the grass and hills are usually still bright green. However, towards the end of the dry season (around July to October), the grass and hills usually begin to turn yellow.
