Itinerary for the 4-Day, 3-Night Family Gathering Package in Jogja
Day 1: Borobudur Temple, Merapi Lava Tour
We will pick you up at your meeting point, which could be the airport, train station, or another location around Yogyakarta. After meeting with our friendly team, your journey will begin with a visit to Borobudur Temple. This attraction is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and is renowned for its history.
During your stay in Borobudur, you can explore the temple, take photos, and enjoy culinary delights all within the same area. Then, we'll take you to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. Afterward, we'll head to Kaliurang to explore the foothills of Mount Merapi by jeep.
The Merapi Lava Tour will take you along a rocky and steep lava path. Along the way, you'll stop at several attractions, such as the Mini Remaining Treasures Museum and the Alien Stone. Finally, you'll also experience water sports in the river. After a day of adventure, we'll take you to a local restaurant for dinner and check-in at your hotel.
Day 2: Pindul Cave, Mesra Beach
After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel. Around 8:00 a.m., you will travel to Gunungkidul for an outbound activity around Pindul Cave. This activity will involve your group participating in exciting games to strengthen bonds. After the outbound activity, the activity will continue with cave tubing.
You will be accompanied by a professional guide as you explore the underground river and pass through caves filled with beautiful stalactites. During the river cruise, you will be equipped with protective equipment for your safety. Along the river, you will encounter endemic animals on both sides. You will also pass a unique mini waterfall. After finishing, you can clean up and enjoy lunch with a local menu prepared by us.
The journey will continue to Mesra Beach. This tourist attraction is one of Yogyakarta's white sand beaches with its own unique charm. Here, you can play in the water, sunbathe, enjoy coconut water, and relax in the garden while watching the sunset. After the sunset moment is over, we will invite you to eat and return to the city of Jogja to rest at the hotel.
Day 3: Mahaloka Paradise, Studio Alam Gamplong, Malioboro
Start your third day with breakfast. We'll pick you up at your hotel and then head to Kulon Progo Regency to visit Mahaloka Paradise. This tourist attraction is nestled among rice fields with the Menoreh Hills as a backdrop. Here, you can enjoy snacks, try out scooters, and take selfies at various photo spots.
Next, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch and then on to our next equally interesting destination. Our second destination today is Studio Alam Gamplong. This man-made tourist spot boasts numerous photo spots reminiscent of cool film sets. This tourist spot has become increasingly popular after being used as a backdrop for the films Sultan Agung, Bumi Manusia, Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca, Habibie & Ainun, Trinil, and Mecca I'm Coming.
In the late afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to stroll around Malioboro. Along Malioboro Street, you'll find numerous clothing stores and culinary delights from various regions. You can also visit other attractions here, such as Fort Vredeburg and the Malioboro Haunted House. Then we will take you to dinner and back to the hotel to rest.
Day 4: Yogyakarta Palace, Souvenir Center
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the Yogyakarta Palace. This place boasts a unique layout and buildings, making it a fascinating place to explore its history. In several rooms, you'll also find museum collections including ancient manuscripts, gamelan, wayang puppets, household utensils, keris (traditional Javanese keris), and even photographs and paintings. From there, we'll head to a shopping center to buy souvenirs and prepare for our return to our hometown.
